DEADLINE & OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES (About the "Curious Incident" Project)

¡Saludos, alumn@s! Ya veis que os estoy ofreciendo estos días "plenty of material to work with & think about"... No os agobiéis: ¡poco a poco! (What is the English for "poco a poco"?... Lo podéis leer en la entrada anterior).
    Desde esta entrada tendréis acceso al documento "Word" que ya visteis en clase: se trata de la descripción e instrucciones correspondientes al Proyecto "Curioso incidente". En él podréis leer la fecha definitiva de entrega.
    En adelante deberíais estar atentos a otras entradas semejantes a ésta: encontraréis "links" para descargaros documentos en inglés sobre los contenidos que hemos estudiado o que trataremos en breve. ¡Ánimo!...

Unfinished HERGÉ

Remember something: what you see now are parts of Hergé´s last project, which remained unfinished (Hergé died at the age of 75, in 1983). It is very interesting to realize that the first sketches are so simple, almost as if an "amateurish" cartoonist was at work. Nevertheless, you should keep in mind that first steps must be as simple as possible: fast and clear. Little by little, the pages (both drawings and texts) evolve and become recognizable pieces of art. 
    Consequently, try to draw some conclusions and a few important lessons: work in stages, without thinking that you will get the definitive "artwork" immediately; share your work with your team; try to specialize.

Hi, pupils! I am offering you the possibility of downloading the book "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" (Mark Haddon is its author), just by clicking HERE. 
    Obviously, you don´t have to read the whole book; just THIS EXCERPT (click). Once you have read it, you should sum it up and adapt it into a cartoon -that is to say: a number of illustrations- can describe the situation and tell the story in a logical sequence.
    Good luck and don´t ever feel discouraged!

By the way: you may have a look at this video from Youtube. It partially tells the story of this "curious incident". I hope you find it interesting...

1st NOTICE (About Links & Files)

Me pongo en contacto con los que se estén ya interesando en las actividades previstas. Quisiera deciros que NO ME ES POSIBLE COMPARTIR con vosotros CARPETAS COMPLETAS de entre algunos de mis trabajos (al menos, no con los medios a mi disposición y hasta donde mis conocimientos alcanzan a día de hoy, 30 de octubre de 2011).
    Esto nos limita bastante, pues no pocos de mis archivos se almacenan junto a otros que se encuentran "enlazados" a aquéllos; o, incluso, varios entre sí. Por lo tanto, los documentos "interactivos" sólo serán archivos de acceso y lectura directa, sin conexión a los "links" de imágenes que yo, habitualmente, he programado.
    En consecuencia y no obstante: en breve elaboro una entrada con los "links" que sean imprescindibles para iniciar, por fin, el PROYECTO DEL CÓMIC (the one that deals with the excerpt from "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time").
